Caught a couple perch, hoping to catch a northern.
How thick is the ice?
Not very safe; maybe 3 inches or a little more. I am wearing a life jacket. When I was young I fell through but not all the way (he spread his arms wide ) I reacted and spread my arms wide stopping myself from going under. It was an fish spearing hole that had only a thin coating of Ice. Didn't see it !
