@valpetersen We are partners again this coming week. These scenes are so spectacular. I can't quite imagine how the person (you?) sitting at Jimmi's in the other photo has nothing on their hands. It seems like it should be so cold up there. As a challenge, how about doing a portrait of a skier? If you're already back home, how about a portrait of someone who is outside?
Oh, and, to tag your partner when you post the picture (so that I'm sure to get back to you and look at the results of my challenge), I think you have to put the @ ... in the comments. The presence of the @ whoever in the text under the picture doesn't notify the other person, but in the comments it does.
@francoise hi yes, must have slipped up there, sorry! I'm travelling back from Italy tomorrow - is it ok if I set your challenge as early as I can on Monday? I'll be able to browse your pics so much better on pc than my phone screen.
@francoise bizarre, isn't it? Hut is at roughly 7,000 feet and surrounded by ice and snow. But when the sun is out, it's warm enough to eat a meal without gloves in. When it's not, everyone heads inside! We were lucky with a sunny day!
What a pity, I did not real earlier that you are in the Dolomites too. We could have met! My picture of the 6th is taken just 3 minutes later, down the slope in the flat Plans area before going round the Sella Ronda. Hope you enjoyed the time in the Dolomites, as much as we did. Stay safe and healty.
@mona65 thankyou! I didnt get to catch up on all the notifications and comments until this morning. 3 minutes later? That's incredible coincidence? Are you home now? If not, have a safe journey and stay well
