Last week's Challenge was "animals" and the best I could muster was a fox; some far-away cows and a stuffed scarecrow-dog!
Thought I'd dig out my timer & shutter release cable ready for this week's challenge and set it up to snap every 10 seconds for 300 frames. The bird feeder usually swarms with blue-tits, Mr. Robin, magpies and lately, a trio of goldfinches - so hopes were high.
The results were underwhelming: one photo-bombing pigeon; a blur of what may have been a goldfinch and one even blurrier blue tit.
Meanwhile, on the oak tree, and out of range Mr Woodpecker was pecking away, bold as you please. Disappeared down the trunk as soon as I swiveled the camera round, naturally : )
