Thank you all for stopping by, fav-ing and commenting! It was one of those finds where you see it, stop and think - that's it for today. Danette, the colors were there - bright and dark-ish on the gloomy day. I increased the contrast though to make it more of a black outline for the shapes. The tricky part was not to just take a picture of one structure, but to have them complement each other and make it a more interesting shot. I liked how this one came out, although in the process - again - I got a couple of strange looks from the people walking by :)
this is fabulous Vera. great colours and shapes in your shot.
I just read your profile and you say you feel intimidated by some of the photos / photographers on here. Don't be . You hold your own. Your photostream is first class :)
Wow, this is a stunningly beautiful, colourful and meticulously composed image. You have really paid attention to getting all your lines lined up and fitted in the frame!
Eiric, the lines of the whole thing were so strong that it just offered itself to make them work together. I think, the fact that a black tarp construction fence was on the back also helped it to make a more abstract image than just having gras an pieces of sky. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
Thank you, Linda, Bob and Judith!
I was happy to have found the place - it attracted me with the colors, and only though the viewfinder I realised that there is something that needed to be put together. Thanks!
