This is a historic toy store sign in town. No more toy store at that location, just a coffee bar, and an old house across the street has been demolished.

@roulin Спасибо! Мне тоже кажется пересвет, только по-другому не получилось. Я эту вывеску давно знаю, но в таким разваленным фоном в первый раз увидела в дождь, с очень мокрой и темной стеной. Вот тогда было красиво, только сама вывеска тоже была темная. Идеально бы - сразу после дождя, чтобы солнце на нее светило. Но такого не дождешься :)

Кстати, давно хотела спросить - у вас часто так бывает, что фотографии просто "светятся" - воздух такой прозрачный и поверхности гладкие и прямо светятся. Как вот и кузнец засветился. Так вот вопрос - а это из-за чего они так "просветляются"?

Thanks for your comments on the old Toy Store sign! I too was happy to find it - I saw it first on a rainy day, with a dark wall behind it, which was better background-wise, but too dark and gloomy for the sign itself (@danette - you are very right on the background being too bright here, that's the part I also don't like about this photo, but I didn't know if there is a way to "correct" it). Thanks!!!!!!
