Across the street

There is an empty lot right across from our house - no buildings, just a forgotten garden that the owners visit only sometimes to cut the grass and to pick the apples in the fall. Today, it looked particularly inviting.

We have a house just a few doors down that is owned by an older couple who visit on Saturdays, have lunch there, then leave. They allow anybody who have family visiting to use the house for free. Maybe they are the same people who own this lot..intriguing..
