It was my last seminar today. Since we are moving in a couple of months, I am not teaching in the coming semester! This means the end of teaching in Germany today for me.

Thank you all so much for your comments! You are right, this picture does have some kind of "blank slate" feeling - and that's how it felt having said good bye to all the students and knowing that a chapter has been just finished.
Ute, @californialover, - I wasn't really sad, it's just a feeling of a change coming, of wrapping something up. I remember it from the time I was a kid - I was a part of a dancing group and every time after a big concert, you have a saddish feeling of something big finished, accomplished and gone. That's the one I had today. Now just looking forward of a couple of months of doing nothing professionally, but focusing the attention on the upcoming move.
@joansmor, @jenniferruge - We are moving back to the US some time towards the summer months, Michigan, to be precise.
Thank you all for your lovely well-wishes and comments!
Lovely marker of the end of your teaching in Germany. What subject I would be interested to know. It's good to hear that you're going to have some time to deal with the move. I shall miss the German element you brought - but I'm sure I'll enjoy getting to know Michigan through your eyes :)
Wonderful capture of how you feel about leaving. You must have so much to look forward to though. I shall miss you beautiful shots of Germany but no doubt there some wonderful ones to look forward to after your move
@pistache I will also miss my "German element" very much, and I am afraid overall there will be less exciting things in my photos. Not looking forward too much for the move, but oh well :) Subject? I am a linguist, so I taught courses in Linguistics while here. Back in the US, I also teach German and Russian :)

Thank you all for your best wishes! As I mentioned, there will be still a couple of months at least of "German" shots - we are planning to leave towards the end of the school year for the kids, so summer. Then, I am afraid, my pictures might get a little bit less interesting, but we will see. :)
