On my last visit I was staggered how much Nevsky Prospect had changed.I remember it being such an uninspiring street on my first visit with no shop windows.

@bob65 The transformation is quite dramatic. I remember guiding tourists and not finding any place to sit down or even use a restroom. Now it's full of life and TRAFFIC!!!!
