The reason I take mine down so soon is because my oldest son has a birthday the first of January. I started taking it down early so that he would have a special day and not just all blended into Christmas. He has been moved out for 16 years now, but I have just fallen into a routine or removing it early. Happy New Year!

You took you tree down already? We leave ours up until February. That way all the needles have fallen off the tree and it is easier to remove it from the house :)
