sorry for the huge amount of shots today. I will be away from the computer for two days and I had a couple of questions about the monasteries and wanted to post a couple more and thought they should be posted as a group. These two shots are of some ancient ruins of monasteries and where the monks would hide from invaders For more info on this place:
@wannabe no, they didn't carve them...there are holes all over the rocks...they may have carved them to accommodate themselves once they got there, but I believe they used what was already there. It was so interesting
