Today was a good day. I got a new lens, but more importantly my younger brother confirmed that he passed his Law degree with a 2:1. To celebrate we went out for a few drinks, and I thought it was befitting to take my camera along for my night out.
This is a photo of my little brother. I'm proud of him.
So, I bought my new lens. I mentioned in yesterday's post that I was going to go for the 70-300mm, but I tried the 55-250mm lens in the shop and was pleasantly surprised. It was half the price of the lens I originally was going to buy, and I'm quite happy with it so far. I can take it back within 30 days if it's not quite right, which is another bonus, but I think I'll keep it. With the money I've saved, I think that calls for another lens!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
