St Andrew Church by vikdaddy

St Andrew Church

Did I say I love my new camera? Well I do! I even took my 7D with me in to town today despite having many things to do. I only had time to take a few snaps on the way to the gym, and this church was the first shot I took.

I couldn't step back any more, so I could have done with my ultra-wide angle lens to get the whole church in, but the 15-85mm is still pretty wide. It's so sharp too - I highly recommend it as a walkabout lens. I deliberated between black and white and colour, but the sky was too glorious a blue to make this monochrome.

This church often has quite humorous religious signs out front. If it did I would have captured it, but today it was just advertising its function rooms for hire. In the current economic climate, I suppose even churches need to make money!

Beautiful pic of a beautiful church! I love the blue sky.
