I remembered to bring all of my kit this evening. So, I did the workout I meant to do yesterday, and on my way back to my car I walked past the Newton Building, which serves Nottingham Trent University.
I only had my compact with me, so the noise in the photo was pretty bad. In post-processing I increased the noise reduction and decreased the clarity to help cover it. It's left the building looking slightly unreal, but I kinda like how the windows glow.
A big building in the city centre has been knocked down. When I left the gym I first walked past the remains, hoping to get a few shots. It was too dark though, so no photos were taken. I'll have to go back again in daylight because there might be something of interest.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

Really am feeling the glowyness with this. I've often tried dragging that clarity slider all the way to the left, and wondered what type of shot it'd suit, and this kinda... adds some extra weight behind the answer. Swell.
this has an otherworldly feel to it that i quite like. i can almost imagine an superhero clamoring down an edge of one of those buildings or something. ;-)
I too love the processing, it really adds. The sky is fantastic too, that deep rich purple in the top left. And I agree with @pixelchix: I'm almost expecting a Batman silhouette on the top.
