I've asked Suman not to throw away flowers when they start to wither. I like photographing them when they start to die; in fact, I prefer shooting them in this state rather than when they're alive and well! I think they signify more, and make for a more interesting photo.
Admittedly I added a texture to enhance today's shot, but with less time on my hands these days I have decided to do this more often. I don't think it's ideal to do it regularly for the remainder of this project, but I do think it still requires vision to know what works.
My wrist is starting to play up. Towards the end of my time in my last workplace I used a vertical, ergonomic mouse, and almost overnight my wrist pains went away. Three weeks in to my new job using a regular mouse and it's starting to play up again. If you have a painful wrist and sit at a PC for much of the day, I strongly recommend you get one. They're quite expensive, but trust me it's not worth the ache - you wouldn't want to develop a repetitive strain injury!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
