I'm shattered. I woke up early to go to Birmingham for a training course, and I fell asleep late last night. I was close to falling asleep throughout the day too, which I must add wasn't a reflection on the content delivered! When I got home I quickly ate, got changed and grabbed my camera, as I was volunteering for Red Nose Day 2011.
My company was chosen as one of Comic Relief's call centres, and my boss suggested that I'd be a good candidate for taking photos on the night. So, I was on camera duty.
This was the first photo I took and it's of Laura Brown, who organised the whole event. There were lots of people at their desks taking calls in an open plan office, and I also had to be careful not to take any shots of the computer screens in case I captured credit card details. So, it wasn't the best event to shoot because the fairly static environment wasn't conducive to creativity.
I've done my bit for charity though (

I've been asked to supply a photo for an album cover. Venona (
http://cfox.supernova.com/Venona), a band local to Buffalo, New York, contacted me to ask whether they could use my image from day 171. I don't consider it to be one of my best photos, but they like it sufficiently enough to use it for their latest EP. I know they're only a small band from the US, but I'm flattered and surprised!
