I appreciate a black and white edit without too heavy contrasts. It suits the winter theme of the image. Well done.

@madeinnl True but there is no snorkeling in Canada this time of year - well at least not without hypothermia.

@eliasbratlie thanks. I typically like more blacks in my images, however, I felt that a greyer image worked better for this.

@jacqbb Thanks. Compositionally I think leading lines are one of the easiest and strongest methods for creating a good image. Not saying that this is the case here, but I think it helps improve on what would be a rather dull image. The only issue I have is that it leads to nothing.

great leading line to make this image - and I think I might remember you from 2011 - my first 365 was on here in 2011-12, but I've stopped doing much since and am very rusty

@shannejw Maybe. I only recently signed up for this site. In 2011 I was using Flickr (can I say that here?). I totally understand what you mean about being rusty. By the end of 2011 I could come up with all kinds of ideas and my images seemed so much stronger.

Ah - I've just pruned my Flickr account to under 500 pictures (been a member there since 2007 or 2008) because I'm reluctant to pay Pro again when they keep mucking us around. My account renewed at the end of the month.

@shannejw Yeah I know what you mean. The new owner of Flickr doesn't seem to understand the value of what they have.
