These don't look anything like the garden geraniums that Grandma Wiesner used to grow. Some of the wild geraniums at Asbury Woods are a shade of red-violet, but I just love this deep periwinkle color with the pale green in the center. The light was hitting the flower just right this morning when I dropped Nick off at Brown's Farm.
