bird's foot trefoil

Bird's foot trefoil is rampant all over the roadsides from Erie to State College and probably beyond. The plant gets it's name from the shape of it's purple seed pods -- they look just like the track a bird would make. Mom likes these for little bouquets. They are adorable.
