Back to the marina in yet another attempt to photograph the wood ducks. It was a beautiful day . . . finally cooler and so clear. You'll note that is is a lovely reflection and not a picture of a wood duck. They are so little and they swim so quickly and they are so skittish. Plus their heads bob back and forth when they are swimming. We tried to entice them to come closer by throwing bits of bark into the water. They weren't fooled and Jack and Lily took offense at me trying to trick the ducks. I think so research is in order before another attempt is made. I would like one . . . just one . . . non-blurry photo of the wood duck. Is that too much to ask?
