My quilt guild hosted Michelle May for a quilt "chat" tonight. Her quilts are all wool and based on Pennsylvania Dutch designs, Hans Christian Andersen, and German paper cutting (called scherenschnitte). She calls her designs reversed wool appliqué. Really different from anything I've ever seen. She was so funny too. The name of her company is The Raspberry Rabbits. She wears a big Mad Hatter hat with bunny ears and at the end of the meeting she took a picture of our whole group giving each other bunny ears. Apparently she does this at all the guilds she visits and then she posts them on her blog TheRaspberryRabbits.blogspot.com.
