I met my friend Melissa at the the library so we could talk about books (but not about school) and then we went to have a quick lunch before she had to go off to Caroline's soccer game and I had to take Jack to get the turkey and practice driving. Even though we weren't supposed to talk about work we decided to take pictures of the bilingual section for a program I'm giving to our PEP moms in a week.
Do you have a large bilingual population at your school? Ours is quite large. The Spanish section of our public library takes up a whole aisle (there are about five or six total easy picture book aisles).
