Nick is home for a short spring break, so today we went to the botanical garden and the Eastern Market on Capitol Hill. The botanical garden has a special orchid exhibit now. I don't even really like orchids that much, so I was surprised at how much I liked the exhibit. This was one of many favorites. If you zoom in on the yellow part it looks like a tiny face. Behind this plant there is a water fountain . . . for this exhibit the fountain is timed with music from the eras of orchid collecting.
