. . . or eagles. Two of the baby ducks hatched this morning. I took two of my EL students down to look at them. One of them asked me if they were eagles or turkeys. The other one (who doesn't usually get things) was rolling her eyes as she told him, "Geez! Look at the feet . . . they're ducks!"
