disappearing lines by wiesnerbeth

disappearing lines

I used a friction gel pen to trace the leaves on this wall hanging I'm making for my friend Tiffany. I left it in the car today and when I opened the bag tonight the lines had disappeared. It was 91 degrees today . . . can't imagine how hot it was in the car!
Love your fabrics, especially the blue background!

@pplutz too funny! I took the picture on top of a blue pillow and the light wast very good. It's actually a piece I've had for years that is cream and mint, but I thought about using blue first! Maybe I should have!

@wiesnerbeth wasn't very good (bad typing!)

I am sure the cream and mint are gorgeous too, but I like the blue undertones here too.

You can put it in the freezer and the lines will come back.

@margonaut not that I doubted you or anything . . .

Ha Ha! One of the reasons I'm hesitant to use the frixon pens. If you ship them and they end up overnight on a cold truck... Plus I've had some lightish ghost lines show up after ironing on darker fabrics. I don't want this to be the case because they seemed so magical at first!

@margonaut I was teaching a quilting class and one if the students gave me one. I probably never would have tried it otherwise. Not sure if I will again!
