While waiting for some parents to arrive for conferences, I was reading the third graders "selfies." This one is by one of my favorite students, Leul. It's Edward from the book, "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane." Later I asked him if he would recommend the book and he answered "yes" . . . his "duh!" was unspoken.
