I bought Lily's Venus flytrap "pet" at a shop called Exotic Plants Comic Books. It made the Little Shop of Horrors look like it was run by Martha Stewart. My friend Kris thought the owner was creepy -- I thought he might be just old and sad. Anyway . . . since bringing it home most of the "traps" have gone from yellow to black and then one day this sprouted. Every day it seems like it as grown at least a half an inch. We may be in over our heads here.
