Today I saw some one come to this shelf in the library, pick up a book and turn it upside down, rifling through the pages. He knocked three books off the back of the shelf and then ran out of the library. What was he looking for in the Life magazine indexes? No one goes over there. Why was he in such a hurry? It's all very mysterious.
@margonaut I had to ask my son what that was! Since then we've heard and seen a bunch of people doing it. I don't think this guy had a cell phone and he was turning the books upside down and shaking them. Then he left an old book on a table and a few minutes later it was gone but I didn't see who picked it up.
