how I spent my day

In the morning, Shannon, Jane, Paula, and I went to the Art in the Garden exhibit in the Hahn Garden at Virginia Tech. Paula made the porcupine (out of knitting needles!); loved this blackberry lily (and it has a good spiral bud); and on the bottom left is an intention tree (my intention fabric was white with polka dots). Before we went to the quilt meeting we ate dinner at The Daily Bread -- I want a chandelier like this one!

@happysnaps Thank you! We went to this restaurant/bakery three times -- I spent a lot of time looking at the chandelier trying to figure out if I could make one myself!
