My second graders have loved coming out to the tree every day to see what's new. Today they discovered that butterflies camouflage when their wings are closed. The top one is the comma (see the tiny white "comma" on the wing?) and the bottom one is the red admiral. There was also a mourning cloak butterfly, but he wouldn't stay still.
