My best friend and I spent a whole summer reading these books. We would ride our bikes to the middle between our two houses and exchange books. This was the summer between freshman and sophomore year in high school when we were really “too old” for them, so we would carry the books in brown paper bags — that way no one would no what we were exchanging.
