Every time my dad would make something or fix something he would write a note on it somewhere. My mom found this in the attic I think. Apparently one of my brothers and I gave my mom a radio, which my dad had mounted on this board (I think in was mounted under the microwave). My brother’s note (on the side) says that I basically bought the radio at half price but made him pay the whole amount and didn’t give him any money back. Suspiciously, my note, refuting this charge, has been worn away. Also, my dad left my brother’s name off the board (but he’s the middle child of five, so it’s to be expected). It was nice to see my dad’s handwriting again, although neither my mother nor I have any recollection of this whole episode (so I guess it’s good that my dad always left an explanation). I love the little side note about how much snow we’d received so far that winter — 70 inches as of January 13 (1996). Just a side note, so far this winter they’ve had 192 inches.
