behind the scenes at the museum

I got to talk about quilting and show a couple of my quilts at the Smithsonian today! Afterwards I got a behind the scenes tour, where I was able to visit the textile library (they have a binder full of patents for clothespins!) and I got to see the Harriet Powers quilt up close!
