@margonaut Yes! I’m chalking it up to not many entries. In the past I’ve gotten several negative comments on my fair quilts. Since this was most likely the last year for the fair, my friend Melissa and I thought we’d try again. I got a second and three firsts plus the best of show for my quilts and a second for one of my photos. Melissa got third for one of her photos. I was pretty shocked. I didn’t get there in time to pick up my premiums though — good-bye $13!
@margonaut I think I only won because there weren’t as many entries this year. It felt weird winning best of show for a quilt I didn’t design, but I was pretty proud of my quilting on that one.
