I hadn't thought of naming trees! What a great idea.

@eudora @margonaut I love the idea of naming trees too! I don’t have any good ones in my yard though. “A Tree Named Steve” is a Book I read to a group of first graders. In the book, the youngest child in the family can’t say “tree” so she calls it “Steve.” We decided to stick with Steve for our tree because a different group of first graders is working on the project every quarter and this way we don’t have to keep changing the name. Hopefully I’ll have a new Steve photo every six days!
