Went to a new-to-us quilt/yarn shop in Falls Church with Marianne today and it just happened to be their second birthday party. As with most of our adventures we drove past it three times before parking in a nearby lot and walking down the street to try to find it. Inside, everyone was commenting on the beautiful vase of flowers (which they should have been), but I was also enamored with the umbrellas stuck in the ceiling in the right corner. After this fun part of the day we went to Astro Doughnuts and Fried Chicken AND Trader Joe’s, so it was like Christmas and your birthday all in one. Actually it is Marianne’s birthday tomorrow.
