Starting the 52-hike challenge again. Neabsco Boardwalk for hike no. 1 today with Jack. Finding this rock with a message up in a tree was pretty exciting until we saw a beaver swim by. I did briefly consider using “smile” as my word for 2022 (how poetic would that be?), but it might be too much of a challenge.
