My mom said we were the subject of the weather question on the news in Erie tonight — “which has had the most snowfall in 2022: Erie or Northern Virginia?” . . . and it’s Virginia for the win.
@eudora I get it! I grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, and I never had trouble driving in it up there, but I never drive in the snow here — no one knows how to drive in snow and there aren’t enough plows to clear it away. Luckily we’re almost always off school when it happens.
@margonaut This was the best day — very peaceful. After that is been so stressful trying to figure out how to shovel it out and navigate the icy sidewalks and downed trees.
