Came home from my colonoscopy to discover that the batteries in my thermostat control thingy had died so the heat is off. Can’t drive to get batteries. Son at work. So I am sitting here with a hot chai latte and a favorite book wearing two coats, boots, and a doubled over quilt. Would wear my mittens, but I can’t turn the pages. Was hoping that the title of the book would make me feel warm. Not working.
