It’s my dream to go on a “Great Lakes tour” one summer. Now that I have the right notebooks I can get right on planning the trip. I ordered a pack of vintage-inspired postcards too — there’s one postcard for each lake. This one is the beach we go to most often on Presque Isle.
Love vintage postcards. How awesome that you found one of a place you know! I'm completely uneducated about the Great Lakes, and apparently about "field notes" notebooks - had no idea that there was such a thing. Sounds like a great adventure!
@margonaut These are new postcards made using the same process (and printing company) that printed the originals in the 30s and 40s. There’s one for every lake, but of course, Erie is my favorite! If you like notebooks, I would recommend these. American made and lots of different types. They always have some interesting things — and a ruler! — printed on the inside covers. They have a great marketing team — just reading the descriptions makes you want to buy the notebooks and go off on an adventure.
