I tried out my macro tubes tonight...just some cheapies I got off eBay...couldn't get a decent photo with them :( no way could I get it to focus, so I go to take them off & bugger! stuck to the lens...heart attack!!! OMG tried turning them this way & that way, no good, not budging. Hell, how am I going to tell hubby I've killed my lens using an $8.00 attachment?? Panic, panic...Google "extension tubes stuck on lens" find an answer on http://photography-on-the.net/forum PHEW!!! thank God I'm not the only one...got to slide the little screw to remove the tubes...boy do I feel silly & relieved at the same time :) Anyway still no decent photo so I decided to just use my normal lens & crop in as much as possible. I will give the tubes another try, maybe during the daylight though :)
Nice shot and editing - what a mare about the tubes - I have wondered about buying one myself - hadn't thought of ebay - will watch with interest to see how you get on!

@debnielsen thanks Deb glad to know I'm not the only one :) anyway I had another try today - no, I didn't get them stuck - not the best result though :( will try again, perhaps on the weekend.
