not a perfect photo by any means...focus is blurred, composition is crap but I wanted to share his story with you all.
Meet Splinter, he is an 8 week old Chihuahua puppy. When he was born his Mum was so very protective & possessive after having a long labour & losing the first pup she wasn't letting anyone get near this baby. She wouldn't leave his side - not even wanting to eat or go to the toilet - when she finally decided to do so it was discovered that his front legs were crossed & he was only able to move commando style. Luckily for this little fellow though, he was born into the household of my cousin who is one of the kindest & most loving person I know, he is now visiting the vet 2 to 3 times a week to have his tiny little legs splinted & the vet is confident he will be able to fix the problem. Mum is still very protective of him & I only had my phone with me so I couldn't get very close to him, hope to go back with my camera so I can get a better photo without getting too close & stressing either Mum or baby.
