Picked up the hire car & headed out of London, our first stop for the night was this little village pub just out of Winchester, in Crawley, called the Fox & Hounds. We spent the night there (after exploring Winchester for the day) & we can highly recommend it...from the room in the converted stables out the back to the wonderful old world bar serving great food to the very friendly hosts & topped off with fresh baked pastries for breakfast delivered to your room....perfection!
