hard to believe it was 12 years ago today that my dear father passed...still miss him so much...as we do every year on this day, my sister & I spent the day with Mum taking her out for lunch.
That's really nice to have a family lunch on this day. Time is strange I find, sometimes it seems short, sometimes long and sometimes you just can't measure it at all.
@quietpurplehaze you are so wise Hazel, there are times even now when I think "I must tell Dad that" & then I feel sad that he's not here, but I'm sure he knows anyway.
