Just came back from the play "Red" by John Logan about Mark Rothko, one of the 20th Century's most influential abstract expressionists. This photo is inspired by his painting and his quote - “Silence is so accurate”
An interesting color to choose for silence. Red is usually quite expressive and loud. But the more subdued tone and the shading in yellow/orange softens it to a more peaceful sense. Alicia is right- it really looks good next to yesterday's shot.

@yaorenliu I feel the silence in the space too and maybe both work together. Since red is not a color you would normally associate with "quiet" or "silent" the pictures makes you stop and quiet your mind to think about it.
