This is what I read, and this is what I shoot.
“We tune out 99 % of the sensory stimuli we actually receive, and we solidity the remainder into discrete mental objects, Then we react to those mental objects in programmed habitual ways”.
I surely make somebody’s head hurt.
p.s. I changed the colors of the arms
Agreed! Did you hope that we won't notice the changed colour of the arms? It's not the remainder from 99% of the object! I guess that the differences in our mentality and education is obvious - we have very different original settings of our 'tunes'! To implement this statement I would rather showed some simple picture with obviously outstanding unsignificant detail, like - I would paint man's nails in green colour for example. I hope you understood me! So the differences of our perception are striking in my opinion!
PS. I'm curoius! Who's the model? :)
Love the headache and chance to think outside my parameters! Must admit that if you can change the colours, I can change the direction of the picture! Again, this is great!
Did you also turn the picture? I read once that if we did not block out the thousands of sensory stimuli we receive in a minute, we would literally not be able to process the information fast enough. So in a sense our censoring is sensible. (o: Good shot!
