One Spring when my mom was having a rough time I repeatedly pointed them out to her much to her annoyance To this day she calls me when they bloom. @tamsg4 These are fairly common out here the bloom very early in the spring and are a bright shocking yellow against our usual gray, and when the light hits them, wow. They lose their blooms and are kind of a messy looking green leafed shrub the rest of the year. Very popular on farms for their low maintenance appeal
