One of the greatest parts of growing up in Portage County, Ohio was going to this Drive-In-Restaurant. It's annual opening is a sure sign of spring and their root beer is made in house daily. The bottled product will never compare. If you aren't hungry yet, their fresh made-to-order burgers, fries and onion rings are delicious and if I still don't have you, they often have "Cruise-In Night" when people drive their classic muscle cars.
This one opened may 5th 1956!
Cool photo! Love the reflectons in the puddles. This brings back lots of memories. We had a drive in just like this one when I was growing up in Indiana. When I was young I went with my parents and as a teenager was known to hang out there occasionally with friends. Good to know they still exist!
