In My Hometown (Winslow Homer)

-side note the Original painting is nearby in Youngstown, Ohio at the Butler Museum of Art. I have gone there to see it several times

@fueast Thanks Alison It was mostly wild carrot (Queen Ann's or Bishop's Lace) We used to pick it and dye it with food coloring at school, by putting the stems in a vase full of water with food coloring
