@juliedduncan Thanks, I took it the day of my friends funeral and just couldn't bring myself to work on it earlier. I couldn't travel to the funeral, so I visited a shrine nearer to home where I often find comfort.

@calm I agree the next statue at this shrine is of the resurrection. I like this one though because it is in a small grotto with kneelers in front so you can stop and pray and think of the love it took to sacrifice his life and the promise yet to come
