Preserving Memories and Preserves at The Geauga County Fair

Labor Day weekend in Ohio is the unofficial end to summer as kids go back to school and the summer growing season winds down at the local farms. The fair is the Oldest continuously running county fair in Ohio and a personal and family tradition for me. Here is a sample of some award winning canning and some colorful winning ribbons
I wonder if these items are tasted or just judged on their presentation! Great and interesting shot!

Looks like some good eats! They sure do give a lot of ribbons... I think I'd be hurt or insulted if I had entered and didn't get something! :)
